Sylvia Suhr

Author and Christian missionary

Sylvia Suhr is an author, missionary and evangelist whose contribution to Fast Forward to Success is grounded in Christian faith. Her biography describes travel and work sharing that message, with personal narratives connected to England, Africa and Australia.

Be a World Changer considers the idea that an ordinary person can have a role in another person's life. Sylvia describes the questions, practical preparations and uncertainty that can accompany a decision to undertake mission work.

Her chapter presents prayer, Scripture and events she understands as provision within that account. The stories explain her own convictions and the meaning she gives to continuing when the resources or route ahead are not yet clear.

Sylvia's contribution introduces the motivation behind her writing and ministry. She is concerned with helping people who share her faith recognize a purpose and become willing to act on it. The biography presents her experience and beliefs without converting spiritual testimony into an independently verified promise of an outcome.
